50/50 a movie about cancer.

50/50
The movie is cast by: Joseph Garden levitt as the lead actor,  Seth Rogen as his best buddy, Anna Kendrick as beautiful doctor, Bryce Dallas Howard as the girlfriend and  lovely  mom Anjelica Houston.

Watching the movie took me down the feelings of sadness and happiness surrounding it. It's a beautifully scripted movie. The theme line is: a young guy having a cancer (neurofibroma, schwannoma) and how he copes with it. Being landed up with the cancer, Adam, the lead actor, goes through the various phases of what we medically call  the various stages of Grief. Those stages can be summarized as  "DABDA", a shortcut for Denial, Anger, Bargaining, Depression and Acceptance.

Okay, I know the shortcut for those phases is little lame. But it's the  medico way of learning and memorizing things, as there are infinite things to memorize.  Coming back to the movie, the actors deals with such a tough subject in a mature way. The humor is used at its best, and it is not cheap. Well yes sometimes it is in part of best buddy's  rough sexual anecdotes, but the whole point is in having used  it so cool-ly.  It shows having loved ones around, families, friends, girlfriend (if they are true one) is always comforting. Yah even the dog is. There will be flux of different emotions which reaches its climax when Adam has to go for life and death decision.

Overall it is a very beautiful, dramatic movie. Can be watched with family, friends. It sings about friendship, relationship, hope in the midst of darkness and of course Miracles a doctor can do for you.. Seriously in real world, doctors are not just about making money . There are some of them who are polluting the name and fame of the profession.

My overall recommendation is : Watch this movie.  It's touching, beautiful movie. Best for one's who love movie genre: Drama, otherwise good for every one. I loved it.

IMDB Rating till date is : 8.1/10
